We want your international training experience to be smooth, organized, and stress-free. Below is an overview of what to expect and how to prepare before arriving for your Advanced Dental Implant Course – International:
This course is designed for dentists who want hands-on implant training with real patients, guided by experienced faculty in a structured clinical environment.
Step 1: Visa Application (Cuba & Peru)
Simple and Quick Process
As an international participant, you will need to apply for a tourist visa for your selected course location (Cuba or Peru).
Both visa processes are straightforward and can be completed online. Detailed, step-by-step instructions are provided after registration based on your chosen intake location.
Step 2: Booking Your Flight
Travel to Cuba
Fly into José Martí International Airport (Havana, Cuba). Airport transfers to the hotel are provided.
Travel to Peru
Fly into the Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez. Airport transfers to the hotel are provided.
Suggested Arrival Date
We recommend arriving at least one day before the course begins to allow time to settle in and prepare for training.
Return Flights
The course concludes on the final scheduled training day.
We recommend booking your return flight after the course end date to ensure full participation in all clinical sessions.
Day 1
Advanced Lecture Series (Day 1)
The Advanced course begins with an in-depth lecture series focused on complex surgical planning and execution. Lectures emphasize how to safely manage compromised anatomy and prepare for advanced procedures that are rarely taught in depth. Lecture topics include:
- Advanced prosthetically driven planning in challenging cases
- CBCT-based assessment for ridge deficiency and sinus augmentation
- Direct sinus lift surgery, ridge splitting, and bone augmentation techniques
- Risk management, complication handling, and surgical decision-making
The lecture day ensures participants are clinically prepared to transition directly into hands-on advanced surgical cases during the clinical portion of the course.
Day 2 - Day 6
Advanced Clinical Training (Days 2–6)
Participants will complete advanced implant surgery on real patients, including:
- Extractions with immediate implant placement
- Bone augmentation procedures
- Direct sinus lift procedures with or without simultaneous implant placement
- Ridge splitting and bone expansion procedures
Across these procedures, participants will complete a total of 15 implant placements, integrated into advanced surgical cases.
