Dr. Alia El-Mowafy

Anesthesiologist – BDS, MSc, Dip. ADBA

Dr. Alia El-Mowafy attended the Bachelor of Science programme at York University majoring in Psychology and Kinesiology. She went on to complete her degree in Dentistry at Future University in Egypt. It was there that she discovered her interest in anaesthesia, and she decided to enter the Dental Anaesthesia program at the University of Toronto where she completed her master’s degree and specialty training in Dental Anaesthesia. Alia is a board certified Dental Anaesthesiologist. She practices in the GTA providing anaesthesia for clinicians doing various dental procedures including dental implants and All-on-4 procedures. She also teaches at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto to both undergraduate dental students and graduate residents in the Dental Anaesthesia program.
